This is a picture of me and another officer providing a funeral escort for a fallen brother.
This picture is the end result of about 15 minutes of trying to take a drug
dealer into custody. The suspect ran out the back door on us, dropping suspected
narcotics and ran. He refused commands from a K9 Officer and was stopped
by the K9. The fight was then on between the suspect, the K9 Officer, the
K9, and myself. The suspect was taken into custody, a large amount of narcotics
was seized, and I went back to the station for a shower!! The struggle lasted
about 15 minutes (an eternity in this type situation), and took place in
a construction site (thus all the mud).
